Maybe they all start life as Mick Jones, then as they develop their own style/personality the Ministry of Names sends a form upon which they choose from a list of other ordinary English-sounding names.

i knew him in the 7th grade when he used to wear red jeans and matching sweaters and we all thought he was gay.

Aren’t all celebs “short and kinda daft in person”? Perhaps not Stephen Fry.
