London = The Big Smoke

Apparently it’s because of a disused bus depot on fire near the Olympic zone in Waterden Road, Stratford, East London. Capital Radio alerted me to the MASSIVE smoke cloud which I somehow missed.For bloggy/Flickr/citizen journo-type reactions, have a look at the Guardian.

Capital reports that people near the site in Stratford say lots of ash and debris are falling all over the place.

Scotland Yard say non-terror-related. YAY!

    Oh yes. That fun little smoke cloud was ALL OVER the local news for just that day. Then everyone got bored. It made me feel like a real reporter. Sigh.
