You all know about Britney by now (if not, click on the picture). There’s been tonnes of stuff on this sad turn of events. The best comment on the whole thing that I’ve seen all day is after the jump…

That nice Hadley Freeman writes some sympathetic stuff over on the Guardian’s Lost in Showbiz blog, which is unusual to see when the subject is Britney. Possibly because it is kind of sweet, the post hasn’t attracted loads of commenters looking to point and laugh at the freakshow. However, it did attract this stonker:
