Baby in the background
2008 September 2
Meghan McCain’s blog gives us much more of the same [via Mudflats]:

I got teary when she started talking about the historic significance of her nomination.

Balancing BlackBerry and baby.

Getting ready for the People Magazine photo shoot.

@ Joy: True on the multi-tasking – I appreciate that sometimes it has to be done.
I would have hoped that the attack from WOW, Palin Go Home was more about the wisdom of a mother of 5 – including a very small Down’s Syndrome baby – running for such an intense job.
Did we need to make Palin look bad? It was all part of being swept up in that crazy campaign. She appeared, at first, like something amazing – the GOP has a female VP! However, each new revelation made her seem more and more monstrous.
It’s easy to look back over it coolly now, but, at the time, she was in the contest for the White House, and that was a shocking insult, really. So, we reacted.
Now that she is a grandmother, perhaps she is glad that her team didn’t win. After all, wasn’t there a wedding for Bristol and Levi to plan…?
I agree with Ncarnes about the multitasking. I voted for Obama, didn’t much care for Palin as a VP choice, but find the attacking random photos as truth to be immature. All of us who have held children while getting things done (it is necessary) have awkward moments. Every day. I think all the made up crap made us liberals look bad. We didn’t have to help Palin look bad, you know.
None of these finds were my own detective work – must thank the Mudflats blog for links!

I love this page. Thanks for the info and keep up the good work!
Your finds are incredible! Great work.
If you find any pics after Jan. 2008 of Sarah Palin pregnant, please post them.
the pic with the blackberry is cute <3
@ Wow, Palin Go Home – Apparently you are not a parent…life with children is multi-tasking and since you are not a parent you are not qualified to speak. The comment in itself is sexist.
We can’t trust Obama. I never see him with his children unless it is on the cover of a magazine. Who says he can be an effective father if elected President?
You are a liberal who is smearing an innocent lady and teenager when you don’t even know them…this constant attacks are going to backfire on you all and all you are doing is creating a victim.
Wow! Sarah Palin certainly is more preoccupied with her gadgetry than with that baby, who is being held like a sack of potatoes! Bristol definitely seems more motherly in the pix.
DOUBLE-WOW! Look how SKINNY the mother is, compared with how THICK the daughter is, in the People photo-shoot picture!
How could ANY mother DO this to her daughter?? This woman cannot be trusted. She does NOT belong in our White House.
(hesitant applause)
“And the right reason is to challenge the status quo and to serve the common good.”
Wow.
